Ice Palace

Youth team Yunost Minsk hosts international matches at the Ice Palace. In the 1990s, this building was built specifically for the hockey team Tivali Minsk. However, the team had ceased to exist long before the construction was finished. Then area was the home stadium for the popular Minsk club Keramin (named after the eponymous factory that produce ceramics), but the club ceased to exist in 2010. What the future holds for other Belarusian ice hockey clubs is unknown. Whether they exist and participate in varioys competitions or not largely depends on the mood of the head of state and the economic situation in the country.
