Minsk Arena is a multifunctional sports and entertainment complex, which is located on the outskirts of the city at the end of Pieramožcaŭ avenue. The ice hockey stadium, which accommodates 15,000 spectators, was the third largest ice hockey arena in Europ at the time of construction (2009 ). The arena is the most comfortable and modern sports venue in Belarus. It is no wonder that Minsk residents love to watch Dinamo Minsk games in CHL. In 2013, the attendace record was set during the Champions League handball match between Dinamo Minsk and Barcelona, when officials recorded 15,321 viewers.
There are also a velodrome and a skating rink at the Minsk-Arena complex. You can skate, rollerblade, play tennis, table tennis, badminton, rent a pitch for basketball, volleyball or football. This is also the only place in Belarus where you can play curling.
