Where to book:
Hostels are still a new phenomenon in Minsk. They're often run by young businessmen who got a taste of hostel stays during their trips to other European countries. A twin room in a typical hostel in Minsk will cost $35, while a bed in a dorm will cost around $15. Most of Minsk hostels do not encourage the development of a special free hostel culture, preferring to pack the place with as many bunk beds as possible. But some hostels are trying to give you more than just a couch. Among those are: Viva, Trinity&Riverside network or Easyflat. Most hostels have English-language web pages, while Easyflat offers you some pages in French and German as well.
